Egyptian women are yet again taking to the streets in protest of the recent violence against citizens. These women have the most to lose in an Egyptian regime change and take huge risks protesting in public. The article, posted today on CNN.com, quotes Nazly Hussien, an activist, as saying, “I noticed protesters are not too scared of the firepower,” but at the same time, “they are terrified from getting caught and tortured.”
Once more, women are clearly illustrating that they will speak up, step out, and stand up for their and their daughters’ rights.
